Adult trip to Our Cabana - 2027

Are you interested in international travel opportunities? Why not join us on an 11-day, 10-night international trip to Nuestra Cabana in February 2027.

This event is open to adult volunteers only.

About the trip

This trip will take members to Nuestra Cabana, Mexico for a world thinking day programme and excursions. Included in the trip will be 2 nights at Valle de Bravo, a visit to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary and Downtown Cuernavaca, a day trip to Floating Gardens of Xochimilco with guide, boat trip and lunch, and a guided Mexico City tour on the departure day before travelling to the airport - lunch included.

9 nights accommodation based on 2 x 10 bedded rooms with shared bathroom facilities. This includes 7 days full board (breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal), and 2 days half board for the day of arrival and departure.

The region will appoint two group co-ordinators from the group to support the group prior to and during the event.

There will be a mandatory pre-event meeting for the group prior to travel at a date to be determined by the group co-ordinators, travel expenses not included. 

Payments

This will be a book and go event and as such, there are no grants available from the region.

The payment schedule is detailed below. 

Full cost of the trip £3750

Deposit - £300 upon booking

£150 30/6/2025

£150 31/8/2025

£210 per month from September 2025 to November 2026.

Included: Flights, accommodation, transfers, meal, excursions detailed above and travel insurance. Also included will be 1 x group t-shirt and an international neckerchief.

Excluded: Travel to Heathrow airport, airline change fees, excess baggage, meals prior to departure.
