Longleat Takeover
We have teamed up with Longleat Safari Park to bring unit an exciting opportunity.
Open to units within Girlguiding South West England.
Child price: £28
Adult price: Adults within a 1:8 ratio will be free (1 free adult for every 8 paying young members). Additional adults will be charged £28. (This ratio is for costing only, you must make sure your unit has the correct ratios as per Girlguiding policy).
Deposit £10 deposit per person upon booking. If you need to pay by unit cheque, please select offline payment.
An invoice will be sent to you after booking detailing a breakdown of the fees.
Balance payment due by 31 July 2026 - no change in numbers permitted after this date.
Each person will also receive an event badge.
Annual pass holders - Anyone wishing to attend using a Longleat annual pass will need to book as per Longleat guidelines. Annual pass holders and carers will be charged £1 each for an event badge only.
Carers - Carers are responsible for bringing appropriate documentation. You can apply for a free Longleat Digital Access Pass (DAP) using the following link. Longleat - application form
Day visit to include Safari Drive-through,(using your own coach) Those not coming by coach will need to pay £10.95 per person. Once all bookings are received we will advise how you can book the Longleat Safari bus, Animal Adventure and Jungle Kingdom, Jungle Cruise Boat, The Bat Cave, Longleat Railway, Hedge Maze, free parking and Longleat House ground floor.
This experience, does not include any specific activities beyond what is on offer at the venue. Please see below website link.
Units will need to bring a packed lunch for their visit or buy food at one of the outlets.

- Carers are very welcome to attend.
- When you book you will have the option of entering your pronoun.
- Please be aware that there may be flash photography at the event. Please let us know when you book if this will cause you a problem.

Transport Information
We would encourage your unit to arrive by coach where possible. If you live very close and are going to ask parents to drop off/pick-up, you will need to confirm by 31 August 2026 how many cars will be dropping off/picking up as Longleat will issue a car pass in advance of the event, that must be shown on arrival.
