Trainers Conference

The theme this year will be ‘Excellence in Training’. This will be based on the WAGGGS Growing and Learning framework.

Trainers will be asked to pay a £20 contribution for an overnight stay and £10 if they would like to attend on the Saturday only (this will exclude the dinner on Saturday evening). 

Some volunteers may have to stay at the Holiday Inn, Solstice Park (10 minutes away) if the Stones hotel does not have enough rooms, this will be confirmed one month before the conference. 

Meals and refreshments are provided from arrival on Saturday morning until lunchtime on Sunday.

Travel expenses will be paid in line with our travel and subsistence policy, but please lift share where possible to reduce the cost and the environmental impact. 

Accommodation for Saturday evening is provided. If there is a volunteer that you would be happy to share with, please confirm the name of this person when booking. 

If you require accommodation on the Friday night we can book this for you at the below rates. You will then be invoiced for this at a later date.

• This event will be nut free so please ensure that you do not bring any nuts with you.
• This event will be fragrance free, so we politely ask that you do not wear any perfume.
• Refreshments and lunch will be provided, however if you would prefer to bring your own, please indicate this when booking. All dietary requirements will be catered for.
• Carers are very welcome to attend and will be provided for. Please let us know when booking that you will be bringing a carer and adjustments and support you require from us.
