Try, Inspire & Qualify - Day Visitor
Try, Inspire & Qualify - day visitors only.
Event open to adult volunteers within Girlguiding South West England.
The event will provide an opportunity for members to:
- Try out activities available to girls.
- Be inspired by learning new skills, gain confidence and network.
- Complete recognised qualifications.
- Meet the region outdoor advisers, network with other members and share ideas.
The cost covers refreshments (tea & coffee) and goes towards the set up of the event and administration. If you wish, you can chose to pay £5 for lunch, otherwise, please bring your own packed lunch.

Qualify
The below qualifications will be available to book separately at an additional cost.
- Archery GB instructor award (2-day course)
- First response (1-day course) - Sunday
- Food safety (4-hour course) - Saturday
- Paddlepower (1-day course) - Sunday

Accessibility Information
- This event will be nut free so please ensure that you do not bring any nuts with you.
- This event will be fragrance free, so we politely ask that you do not wear any perfume.
- Meals and refreshments will be provided, however if you would prefer to bring your own, please indicate this when booking. All dietary requirements will be catered for.
- Straws and accessible two handle mugs will be available if required.
- Carers are very welcome to attend but please make sure they book and let us know of any adjustments and support you require from us.
- When you book you will have the option of entering your pronoun. We will print this on your name badge. If you prefer you can leave this field blank.
- Finances should never be a barrier to taking part in Girlguiding events and activities. Please check with your unit, district, division, and county/island to see if they can offer any financial help. Also check the following links to grants that are available:
